Ål Bydamuseum is located just above Ål town center, towards Øvre-Ål.

The museum consists of several historical buildings and artifacts from various parts of Ål municipality. The museum was established in 1924 by Ål Museum Associtation, and shows life in the area through four main sections: the Leksvol farm, the upper area, the mountain farm and the crofter's farm. All the buildings are moved to the museum. At Ål Bygdamuseum you can explore 31 buildings, including the finely decorated buildings from Settungsgard and Holto.
