Dette er et enkeltbilde fra et album fotografert av Karl Olsen.
Albumet inneholder originale fotografier av sprengte bruer på Romerike fra aprildagene 1940. Bruene ble sprengt av nordmennene for å sinke den tyske framrykkingen. Bildene i fotoalbumet er av Eidsvoll-Sundbru, Aarnes bru, Berger bru, Gamle Ulvesund bru, Bårlidalen bru, Holt bru og et bilde av "Bru over Sandvikelv i Sandvika 21-12 1934". Albumet har tidligere tilhørt Akershus vegkontor, og bildene er fotografert av Karl Olsen, daværende avdelingsingeniør i Statens vegvesen Akershus vegkontor.
" Karl Olsen ble født 27. desember 1910 i Farsund, Vest-Agder, - død 21. februar 1999 i Bærum. Sønn av byggmester Reinert Emanuel Olsen og Justine Christiansen. Gift i 1937 med Anne-Marie Johanssen. Utdannet siv.ing. fra Norges Tekniske Høgskole i 1934. Stud. vegbygging i USA i 1950. Karl Olsen var senere Vegdirektør fra 1962 til han gikk av med pensjon i 1980".
