Other information Anders Sandvig (1862-1950), norsk tannlege og museumsmann, grunnla 1904 friluftsmuseet Maihaugen på Lillehammer (De Sandvigske Samlinger). Han var direktør her til 1946. Medaljen ble utgitt for å feire hans 80års-dag i 1942.
