Dette fatet fikk Alma og Albert Madsen i gave ved sitt sølvbryllup 31.10.1950. Fatet ble i 2016 gitt til Metodistkirken.
Rolf Hansen ble født 27. juli 1922 i Kristiania og døde 29. mai 2004. Han var en Norges fremste keramikere, og han hadde en karakteristisk frodig og dekorerende stil. På tross av ulike stiler har ofte funksjonen og uttrykket vært det samme I perioden 1947 – 1957 drev Rolf Hansen Kongsberg Keramikk-, i samarbeid med Birgitte Carlsen som var pottemaker og Sven Skjæveland som dreide keramikk. Rolf Hansens kone, Ragna Fusche Hansen, var også keramiker og jobbet sammen med ham i verkstedet. Rolf Hansens arbeidsoppgaver i Kongsberg Keramikkens ble for det meste å dekorere ferdig dreide produkter med begitning, en teknikk for å legge farge på keramikken. Kongsberg Keramikk ble drevet fram til 1957, og etter dette drev Rolf Hansen videre for seg selv med hjelp av kona, Ragna, fram til sin død i 2004. Gjennom å studere Rolf Hansens verk, kan man se et tydelig skille i de ulike periodene i livet hans, hvor da Kongsberg Keramikk er en veldig tydelig periode. Rolf Hansen er kjent for motivet «Hvit blomst» og andre stiliserte motiver. Fargene til Rolf Hansen er lett gjenkjennelige: I perioder benyttet han mye sterke farger, mens han i andre perioder brukte mer mørke, dunkle farger. Samlingen og utstillingen her ved Lågdalsmuseet består av omtrent 150 av hans mest karakteristiske verk.
