Trolig brukt på Resdkapsfabrikken i Nydalen.
Redskapsfabrikken er den lave mursteinsbygningen midt i Nydalsbyen. Over den sørligste gavlen troner fortsatt en stor jernring med to store bokstaver: CS som står for Christiania Spigerverk. Bygningen ble reist i mange etapper fra 1877. Spigerverket hadde ekspandert jevnt på østsiden av elva i over 20 år, og trengte nå et nytt fabrikkbygg. Her ble det samlet over 40 klippemaskiner for spiker som ble drevet av kraft fra elva.
I 1912 startet Spigerverket egen produksjon av redskaper. En fabrikk lenger nede i elva, i gamle Bentsebrugs papirfabrikk, ble kjøpt og utstyr og folk flyttet til Nydalen. "Norges-spaden" ble et kjent varemerke. Etter hvert overtok redskapsproduksjonen hele bygningen mens spikerproduksjonen ble flyttet til stadig større og mer moderne lokaler.
Fiskars overtok som eier i 1990, fortsatte produksjonen av skuffer og spader. Den mest kjente spadeserien fra Nydalen er Classic-serien med røde håndtak. Først de siste årene har Fiskars også endret produkjonen i Nydalen til å bli mer sort og orange, som er Fiskars farger. Fiskars produsertet snøskuffer og spader her. Fiskars la ned virksomheten i Nydale våren 2022.
1853 Christiania Spiger- og Valseværk anlegges ved Akerselven i Nydalen. Skal produsere spiker og smigods. Varmsmidd spiker er viktigste produkt.
1920-årene: Verket utvikler seg til en av de største industriselskapene i Norge med et betydelig jern- og stålverk.
1972 ble Spigerverket fusjonert med Elkem.
1985 Christiania Spigerverk til Norsk Jernverk i Mo i Rana. Siden har det skjedd flere eierskifter, fusjoneringer og store endringer i produksjonen.
1990 Fiskars overtar som eier av produksjonen av redskap i Nydalen.
