SubjectFra Tverrena fellesfløtningsforenings spillflåtenaust ved Nordre Ulvsjøen i Enavassdraget i Trysil, fotografert i 1969, før bygningen ble flyttet fra sine opprinnelige tufter til Norsk Skogbruksmuseums friluftsmuseum på Prestøya i Elverum. Fotografiet er tatt mot den «bakre» gavlveggen, der det på dette tidspunktet hadde grodd fram en del småskog. Spillflåtenaustet er en 8,1 meter lang og 5,7 meter bred bindingsverkskonstruksjon. Mønehøyden er 405 centimeter, rafthøyden 190 centimeter. Bygningen kviler på ei rektangulær svillramme som kviler på laftesteiner. Begge langveggene har fem 160 centimeter høye bærende stolper (4” X 4”) inkludert hjørnestolpene. Midt på langveggene er konstruksjonen også avstivet med skråbånd fra svillene mot raftbjelkene. Raftbjelken på den bakre gavlveggen har to stendere i tillegg til de nevnte hjørnestolpene. Her finnes det dessuten en V-formet avstiving under den sentrale delen av raftet. Spillflåtenaustet er en luftig og åpen bygningskonstruksjon. Bare den «indre» eller «bakre» gavlveggen er helkledd med vertikalstilt kledning, over- og underliggerpanel. Langveggene har samme kledningstype, men bare 85 centimeter fra raftbjelkene og nedover. Under dette nivået er sideveggene åpne. Her er det med andre ord ei 85 centimeter høy sone over svillramma er helt åpen. Den «fremre» gavlveggen er kun bordkledd røstet. Den nedre delen av denne veggflata er åpen med en bredde på 5,38 meter og høyde på 1,73 meter. Her er det ingen bærende bjelker mellom hjørnestolpene. Dette gjorde det overkommelig å få spillflåten inn og ut. Den er 7,5 meter lang, 4,15 meter bred og 1,4 meter høy. Spillflåtenaustet har sperretak med ni sperrepar som støttes av en sideås på hver takhalvdel. Sideåsene bæres av tre underliggende takstoler, som er plassert over bærebjelkene på langveggene. Takflatene måler 8,5 X 3,9 meter. De er tekket med takflis som er spikret på lekter.
I 1969 dokumenterte konservator Tore Fossum fra Norsk Skogbruksmuseum i 1969 dokumenterte det man da visste ville bli den siste fløtingssesongen i Enavassdraget og intervjuet veteranene som sto for fløtinga. I disse samtalene ble han fortalt at det ble innført en ny spillflåtetype på Ulvsjøen i 1908. Forbildet var de flåtene som da ble brukt på Osensjøen. Fossum fikk vite at spillflåtene fra starten av ble vinterlagret under åpen himmel, men at dette innebar at de fikk kort levetid. Fløterne fortalte ikke, og visste kanskje ikke eksakt, når dette naustet ble reist. Bygningen sto like ved strandlinja, og ikke høyere oppe enn at vannspeilet gikk inn i bygningen når dammen ved Ulvsjøens utløp ble stengt ved fløtingssesongens start. Dermed kunne fløterne la vannet bære spillflåten inn og ut av naustet når sjøfløtinga skulle påbegynnes og avsluttes. Utenom denne perioden sto dammen åpen, slik at både naustet og flåten da befant seg på tørr grunn.
I 1970 fikk Norsk Skogbruksmuseum spillflåtenaustet fra Ulvsjøen i Trysil som gave fra Tverrena Fellesfløtningsforening. Naustet ble demontert og komponentene ble transportert til Elverum samme år, slik at gjenoppføringsarbeidet kunne starte påfølgende sommersesong. Planene, som ble realisert, var å stille ut flåten i naustet den hadde stått i mens denne måten å fløte på ennå ble praktisert på denne lille sjøen. Spillflåtenaustet ble gjenreist på Prestøya i juli og august 1971.
