Albert Petersson fotograferte sjølv har han fortalt i eit brev til systera Signe den 6. desember 1910. Han skriv om Klaus: "Han är det snällaste barn man kan tänka sig, och så tidigt utvecklat karakter att det ofta är rent märkvärdigt. ... Klaus verkar icke minsta bortskämd eller lillgammal trots sina snusförnuftigheter. Jag skulle kunna skifva hela ark om Klaus, men har icke nu tid."
Om dette fotoet er frå 1910 eller 1911 er usikkert. I desember 1910 er Klaus 3 år og 8 månader. Svært truleg er faren Albert Petersson fotograf. Jamfør foto I-08751 og I-04925. I følge familien (Leonie Ribbing i 1999) har gyngehesten følgt familien i mange år, men finst ikkje meir.

Født 6.2.1870 i Landskrona, Sverige. Barn av Ida, født Holmgren og fabrikkeigar / støperieigar Johan Petersson i Landskrona. Systera Signe eldst, født 1868. Albert nr 2, Birger yngst, f. 1872.
Teknisk utdannelse ved Eidgenössische (Eidgen) Technische Hochschule i Zürich, Sveits. Ble innskrevet som elev i 1888, fikk ingeniørdiplom i 1892. Tok sin doktorgrad i 1894 ved universitetet i Zürich. Disputerte over tittelen "Ueber Messungen des Thomsoneffectes" og ble utnevnt til "Doctor der Philosophie" i 1895. Var med i den Nordiska Roddföreningen (roforeningen) i Zürich. Var fra 1995 med på oppbyggingen og forskningen ved de første europeiske karbidanleggene i Savoien i Geneve-området. (St. Michel og Notre Dame de Briancon.) Fra 1898 tilsatt ved Alby Carbidfabrikk ved Ljungaelven i Västnorrlands län, Sverige, der han først var teknisk leder og bygde opp og videreutviklet smelteovnsteknikken (epokegjørende; kontinuerlig drift). Disponent (stedlig sjef) ved Alby fra 1903. Hadde et bredt interessefelt og ble ansett som et teknisk geni. Var med som konsulent/ekspert ved utbyggingane på Notodden og involvert i industrietablering andre stader, m.a. Meråker.
Fra 1906 bygde han opp fabrikkanleggene til Alby United Carbide Factories Ltd i Odda og North Western Cyanamide Co Ltd i Odda. Var samtidig administrerende for Meråker karbidfabrikk (Alby United). Tok norsk statsborgerskap. Hadde aksjer i flere industriselskap fram til 1914 viser arkivet fra boet. Mellom den 18. og 19. august 1914 forsvant han frå rutebåten på veg til Bergen.
Gift 16.10.1906 i Berlin med Leonie fødd Witt (21.03.1888 - 12.04.1910). Barn: Klaus (f. 1907) og Ingrid (f. 1910). Barna vokste opp i Sverige med morens etternavn, Witt. Ingrid gift Ribbing.
"Trekløveret" Petersson, Rosengren og Bruce arbeidet sammen som ingeniører. De kom alle fra Landskrona. Petersson var eldst og rekrutterte. Han var også søskenbarn og fosterbror av Rosengren. Petersson kom først til Alby, deretter Rosengren og fra 1903 var Bruce også med på laget. Alle tre kom til Odda i 1906. Forståeleig nok finner vi dels de samme fotografiene i familiene sine fotoalbum. - ProfessionDirektør og ingeniør
