Strikket sokk med sauskinnssåle og åpen hæl. Ble brukt utenpå støvler i sterk kulde og dyp snø. Det var plass til halm, som stakk ut av hælen og ga fotfeste. Sokkene ble brukt av giverens far. Hans familie kom fra gården Midtskogberget, gnr. 75, bnr. 3 i Trysil. Gården er omtalt i trysilboka, bind 3.
