Tsjekkiske tvangsarbeidere i Sør-Troms

During WW 2, the Germans sent approx. 2000 Czech forced labourers to Northern Norway. They were used by Organisation Todt (OT) in construction work for the Wehrmacht. About 80 Czechs worked at Trondenes. Here, they worked on the construction sites for the heavy coastal artillery battery Theo, and its "Adolf-guns".
