Del av et hengesmykke. Det dreier seg om et hestehodeformet del av et anheng, der kun hodet er bevart. Dette er identisk med ornamentikken på hele hengesmykker funnet i Finland som opprinnelig hadde to hestehoder på øvre del av smykket som så utover til hver sin kant slik at hodene best ses i profil. Dyrene har utstående ringer til øyne. Kun et komplett smykke kjennes fra Norge, i Skjåk, men dette befinner seg på British Museum (British Museum: BM.1891,1021.108). Et annet funn er del av et mellomalderanheng som befinner seg på norsk folkemusem med nummer NF.SA 2691 (Skalleberg Gjerde 2010:52). På det bevarte hodet hodet fra Pasvik er bare den ene ringen som markerer øyne (eller ører?) bevart. I likhet med de andre funnene som er omtalt er man og en llinje mot enden av mulen dekorert i imitert filigransteknikk. Et tilsvarende funn er gjort i H8 (Ts. 12317.83). Smykker av denne typen er produsert ved Ladoga, Russland i perioden 1000-1200-tallet (Kivikoski 1973:140).

Funn fra arkeologisk forskningsundersøkelse i forbindelse med prosjektet Hunters in transition: Hearth row sites, reindeer economies and Sámi society 800-1300 AD. Undersøkelse av 8 ildsteder, av type rekkeildsteder /Assebakte. Undersøkt av Sven-Donald Hedman, Senter for samiske studier, Universitetet i Tromsø i 2012 og 2013. Dateringen viser ca. 1100-1300 e.Kr. Faunamateriale er analysert av Maria Vretemark. Funnene omfattet blant annet bronseblikk, ildflint, jernslagg, hodene til et hesteformet anheng av russisk opphav, et vektlodd, pilespisser av jern, kniver, bronsenål og et fragment av glassperl.
