Seremonielt skulderklede. Slike skulderkleder er alltid røde. Dette skulderkledet er av en type som er blitt laget fra 1970-tallet av. Det er betydelig smalere enn tradisjonelle skulderkleder, og er mer tilpasset kvinner i kontortilværelsens yrkesliv. Ei kvinne skal dekke sin venstre skulder ved formelle anledninger og når hun besøker et kloster eller et tempel. Mange kvinner bærer alltid skulderklede. Til formelle anledninger brettes kledet ikke bare på langs, men også på tvers slik at frynsene kommer over hverandre. Kledet plasseres over skulderen slik at frynsene kommer foran omtrent på nivå med midjen. Dersom ei kvinne snakker med høyerestående tjenestemenn eller mottar velsignelse av en lama holder hun endene på kledet foran munnen, slik at hennes pust ikke skal komme på en overordnet. Produksjon
Vevet på grindvev. Vinrød bunn med mønster i hvitt, rosa, grønt, turkis, fiolett, gult og sølv. Frynser i begge ender. Kledet er brettet én gang på langs.- Asia Sør-Asia Bhutan Bhutan
