Massiv jernnøkkel, kraftig korrodert, men likevel med noe av mønsteret intakt. Funnet av Ellen Christine Lilleeng. Nøkkelen har et rundt håndtak, som føres inn i et tykt og rundt skaft. Skjæret består av en bred plate med to symmetriske innsnitt, som nærmest har form av to avlange kors. Over skaftet kan det observeres en rekke diagonale linjer, som utgjør et kryssformet mønster.
Nøkkelen kan defineres som en vridlåsnøkkel. Utformingen av eksemplaret ligner Sigurd Griegs (1933) Fig. 34, men selve innsnittet har større likhetstrekk med Fig. 33. Utformingen av håndtaket avviker imidlertid fra begge typer, ved at håndtaket fases inn i skaftet, lik Fig. 35. Fig. 33-34 hos Grieg ser derimot ut til å ha en lukket ring som håndtak. Fig. 32 har også flere likhetstrekk, blant annet i utformingen av håndtaket, men er langt større enn eksemplaret fra Gryttingvollen.
Nøkkelen ble ikke funnet i en daterbar kontekst, men har likhetstrekk med kjente nøkkelfunn fra middelalderkontekster i norske byer. Samme nøkkeltype skal visstnok også være avbildet på en Petrusfigur fra Fåberg fra ca. 1250 e. Kr. (Grieg 1933:86). Felles for denne nøkkeltypen er at de kan knyttes til en rekke ulike kontekster datert til høy- og senmiddelalder.

Under Pinseflommen i 2011 ble det vasket frem en uregistrert kullgrop og laftetømmer i et flomløp på Gryttingvollen. Dette ble oppdaget av Tore Anders Solbrå Grytting og Bjørn Lilleeng. Noen dager senere fant Ellen Christine Lilleeng en jernnøkkel like i nærheten. Grytting varslet Oppland fylkeskommune om funnet, som videreformidlet opplysningene til Kulturhistorisk museum. Ettersom funnet lå innenfor reguleringsplanen for E6-prosjektet Gudbrandsdalen "Odenrud - Nord-Fron grense", ble innrapporteringen lagt inn under prosjektet. Under en befaring med Grytting 6. juli 2011 ble funnene påvist, og nøkkelen overlevert. Tømmerstokken oppbevares i dag på Nordgard Grytting. Nøkkelen var blitt funnet på et svaberg få meter vest for kullgropa, og tømmeret få meter vest for denne i selve erosjonskanten på nordsiden av flomløpet inntil Lågen. Kullgropa og nøkkelen har likevel ingen tilknytning til hverandre. Trolig kan tømmeret og nøkkelen knyttes til eldre flomkatastrofer, hvorpå bygningsmasser har blitt skyldt i land og senere dekket av sedimenter. Lignende situasjoner er beskrevet i forbindelse med Storofsen i 1789. En laftet løe står i dag i skråningen nord for Gryttinvollen, og skal ifølge grunneier være bygget av tømmer fra Storofsen. Ytterligere en hardt skadet kullgrop ble påvist få meter øst for den første, men denne lot seg ikke dokumentere i nevneverdig grad. 7. juli ble det gjennomført en forenklet undersøkelse av kullgropa ved manuell flategraving av en kvadrant i milebunnen. Kullgropa hadde en tydelig sirkulær form, og var dekket av eldre flomsedimenter fra to ulike begivenheter. Fra kullgropa ble det tatt ut fire kullprøver, hvorav to ble sendt til detaljert vedartsanalyse ved Moesgård museum. Prøvene ble deretter videresendt til radiologisk datering ved Ångströmlaboratoriet ved Uppsala Universitet.
