- Skattefunn fra vikingetiden fra Grimestad (gnr. 21, brnr. 3), Stokke s. og pgd., Vestfold (fig. 18). ##Funnet sommeren 1936 i en potetåker på ovennevnte gård Grimestad. Under potethypning hørte finneren at det skranglet i hestehakken og opdaget så at der satt en sølvring på en av tennene. De øvrige saker fremkom så ved eftergravning. Sakene fantes i plogdybde i en åker som i manns minne har vært dyrket. Funnets mynter blev innløst av Universitetes Myntkabinett, som senere vil gi meddelelse om myntene. Oplysningene om funnet er meddelt av finner og grunneier, gårdbruker Karl Gundersen, Stokke, og av lensmannen i Stokke.
