Liv Sigrid Hovden budde på Hovden mellom Høydalsmo og Øyfjell. Garden ligg på vestsida av Hovdevatn og var slektsgarden til Liv. Då Liv døyde testamenterte ho alt etter seg til samlinga til Øyfjell Bygdemuseum. Det vart òg testamentert eit større pengebeløp. Det var særs mykje gamle gjenstandar, tekstilar, sylv og bilete i denne samlinga.
