Født 21.01.1875 - død oktober 1932
Født i Tønsberg, død s. st. Sønn av fotograf Theodor L. og Emilie Thorine Johansen, gift med Jenny Andersen Bjørndahl. Begynte som fotograf i 1890, utdannet også i Wien og London, ble kompanjong i 1899 i det firmaet som faren hadde startet i 1856, og som etter hans død i 1889 hadde vært bestyrt av moren og søsteren Emma. I 1906 overtok han firmaet alene. Han startet også rammefabrikk i 1918. Ved hans død i 1932 ble atelieret i Tønsberg overtatt av sønnen Asgeir Theodor Ditlef L., som drev det til det opphørte i 1965. Filialen i Drammen ble i 1915 overtatt av Arthur David Hjelm L. etter at den en tid hadde vært drevet av Lorentz Larsen fra Skien. Han drev filialen til sin død ca. 1930. I Sandefjord kalte O. Klemmetzen seg i 1903 for "Th. Larsens Eftfl.". Ansgar Th. L. fikk sølvmedalje i Budapest i 1900 og i Drammen i 1907. Han var den første formann i Vestfold Kretsforening for selvstendige fotografer, senere Vestfold Fotograflaug, redaktør av Norsk fotografisk tidsskrift 1918-32 og æresmedlem av Norske fotografers landsforening, hvor han også hadde vært formann. Arkivet er i Vestfold Fylkesmuseum, Tønsberg. Slottsfjellsmuseet (tidligere Vestfold fylkesmuseum) har overført deler av arkivet til KOMMA, Kompetansesenter for museum og arkiv, (tidliger MuVe), Sandefjord.
