Dette kan være type nål benyttet til nålbinding. Kan altså være feilbestemt. Ligner meget på nål smidd av smeden Esten Langland til Hanna Larsen i Klæbu. Redaksjonskomiteen i Klæbu historielag har intervjuet henne om metoden nålebinding. Hun hadde en helt lik nål som på foto over hun benyttet.
