The Håfoss automatic telephone exchange at Etne is a small building of a mere 7 square meters. It is clad in eternit with roofing felt covering the typical «toad roof». The original exchange (FS-40) is no longer intact, but an equivalent model has been reinstated.
Håfoss exchange is one of several examples where a new exchange has been alongside the old. The new exchange was in all likelihood established in the 80s.
