Gjenstanden ble gitt til Fauske Bygdetun i forbindelse med at Fauske Samvirkelag ble stått sammen med coop sambo 1 januar 2011
til coop Nordland.
Fauske Samvirkelag hadde i løpet av sin nesten 100årige historie tatt vare på en del av de gamle gjenstandene fra driften, og hadde, frem til Flytting i nye lokaler i 2012, disse på utstilling i egne lokaler i Sjøgata.
