Kan være Georg Pande (f. 5/9-1863) fra Tønsberg. Georg var grosserer med eget firma, og da han satte firmaet i konkurs i 1893, fikk han såpass mange klager fra kreditorer at han til slutt ble arrestert for bedrageri i 1894. Saken ble henlagt da han lovet å ta en stilling i Rio, Brasil, og ikke komme tilbake til landet på 5 år. (Kilde: Pål Winther)
