Albumtekst:
New, lightweight airplanes which are able to land and take-off on any sizable lawn, making possible house-to-house travel by air, have been developed by the Lanier Aircraft Corp., a United States airplane manufacturer located at Marlton, in the norteastern State of New Jersey. The small aircraft, called "Paraplanes", have bulit-in air scoops on the undersides of the wings, which, when lowered, create a high air resistance to slow speed and bring about a low-pressure area in the wing-top to ouahion the descent. The airplane's bat-like shape and gull-like wing dihedral greatly aid its lift and stability.
The photograph shows one of the new "Paraplanes," with the lowered air scoops visible under the wings.
