Svalgangshuset, bygget på16-17-hundretallet. Karl XII overnattet her på sin ferd mot Christiania.
Inger Munch, søster av Edvard Munch, testamenterte ved sin død i 1952 ca 200 negativer til Oslo Bymuseum. Blant dem negativene til de fleste bildene i hennes bok "Akerselven", utgitt i 1932.
