Skogeier og amatørfotograf Olaf Christian Bull Aakrann (1870 - 1959), gift med Marie Julie Fredrikke Kreutz, blir regnet som grunnleggeren av Glomdalsmuseet i Elverum. I 1920 kjøpte han sammen med to andre Kornhaug Sanatorium i Gausdal, og fikk også bygget boligtypen "Bullgarien", 6 typehus bygget i perioden 1912-1914 som arbeiderboliger på Vestad i Elverum.
