Jag ägde en sådan telefon, den sände signalen via NMT 900 systemet. När det systemet lades ner så ersattes det av GSM. Använde telefonen fram till dess att det bara brusade i luren och var sedan tvungen att ersätta den med Ericsson 868i som är en GSM telefon med infraröd port
