This plug was made by "Erich Jäger GmbH/ Bad Homburg v.d.Höhe/ Germany" in the 1930s (maybe until the 1950s). This company still exists.
The "N" is the test mark of the Norwegian electrical test and registration department. The plug was also made with test marks of Sweden (S), Germany (VDE) etc.
