I Johannes gate 4, som består av kjøkken og stue, samt to rom på kvisten, tar museet utgangspunkt i Marius og Augusta Andresen. Marius som var kjørekar og arbeidet på Lillestrømmen damphøvleri var vokst opp på et småbruk i Asker. Kona Augusta Wilhelmina Andersdotter var kommet fra Bohuslän som såkalt «barfotjente» på slutten av 1800-tallet.
I 1925 besto husholdet både av Marius og Augusta Andresen, begge i begynnelsen av 60-årene og deres tenåringsdatter Rakel, som arbeidet som visepike. Sønnen David, som var sigararbeider, og kona hans, Hedvig, og den tre år gamle datteren deres Gerd Solfrid var del av husholdet, det var også datteren Esther, hennes mann, den østerrikske emaljeabeideren Albert Scheinpflug og deres fem år gamle datter Erna.
7. juni 2012 ble to hus på Enerhaugen: Johannes gate 4 (1925) og Stupinngata 10 (1954) gjenåpnet.
