History

- Fra serie etter iseksportør Axel Quinsgaard Wiborg, bosatt i Oslo og senere Digerud, Frogn. Han var tidlig en ivrig amatørfotograf som omkring 1898 skaffet seg et 13x18 plateapparat med utskiftbart objektiv for stereo, samt utstyr for magnesiumopptak, framkalllings- og kopieringsutstyr etc.
  
  Ved sin død 1944 etterlot han seg ca. 200 negativer, mange tatt i tiden 1901-1906. Motivene er mest knyttet til eget familieliv, i tillegg til motiver av stor generell kulturhistorisk verdi. Endel av bildene er stereoskopfotografier.
