Stor aktivitet med å ferdigstille stasjonen senhøstes, før baneåpning 30.november 1958. En dieseltank ligger på godsvogna og skal monteres på et av fundamentene til høyre. Vogna har nok kommet sørfra med Gt 5771 til Saltdal, og så videre med et kipptog til Fauske.
