Marentius Thams med en skutt løve. Masai Mara, Kenya?
Marentius Thams kom første gang til Mosambik og Kenya sammen med sin onkel Christian Marius Thams i 1914. Han skulle da arbeide i en av Christian Thams' plantasjeforetak.
