Kalvåg 1913. Huset i bildekanten er sjukhuset. Det var bygd i 1903 av Vårsildavgiftsfondet. Sjukehuset hadde plass til inntil 20 pasientar. Det var i drift til ut på 1920 talet, kommunen overtok då mykje av bygningen til kommunestyresal og andre kontor. Bygget vart rive tidlig på1980 talet for å gje plass til ny sjukeheim.
