Edvard Munchs tante Karen Bjølstad (1839-1931) lytter på radioen hun fikk av sin nevø. Bildet er tatt på Nordstrand i villa Punktum, Ole Moes vei 2, der Karen døde. Edvard Munchs maleri "Natt i Saint-Cloud" (1893) henger til venstre på veggen bak henne.
Inger Munch, søster av Edvard Munch, testamenterte ved sin død i 1952 ca 200 negativer til Oslo Bymuseum. Blant dem negativene til de fleste bildene i hennes bok "Akerselven", utgitt i 1932.
