- Dolman-cape var et ytterplagg designet for å brukes til turnyrkjoler. De var kortere og tilpasset bak for å kunne brukes over store turnyrer og gjerne med nedheng på sidene og foran. De hadde ermelignende effekt og så ut som halvveis cape og halvveis jakke. Brukt på 1870/1880-tallet og i Skandinavia til tidlig på 1890-tallet. Nedheng foran kom på moten allerede på 1850-tallet, men de ble svært populære på 1880-tallet og var da tynnere enn tidligere, også kalt «infulae» på norsk og «lappets» på engelsk (se referanser).
