  • Dette er en såkalt "hogscraper". En vanlig stake av jernblikk laget i England. Hvordan slike har havnet i Norge såpass tidlig, kan man undre seg over. Wallem viser en "fra Hallingdal", kanskje noe en engelsk turist glemte igjen?
    Litt.: "Fire&Light" av John Caspall, illustrasjon 365-372. Ifølge ham skal staken være fra midten til slutten av 1700-tallet.
